My #mentalillnessfeelslike a frantic sloth.
This week, my body has felt heavy and slow, like I've been given a sedative. But my brain thinks I'm being chased by zombie robots and,therefore, I'm frantically trying to think of all of the possible ways to escape, without really moving at all......
For example, this week my anxiety and stress has been extremely high, and I have no idea why. There is nothing big or different or stress-inducing at all. My hubby is on summer vacation and my work is as boring as ever. But, my heart rate is high and I feel..... frantic. But my body is tired and the idea of moving is just too hard.
So, I took a sick day today to be a frantic sloth.
If there is such a creature, then it's probably my spirit animal.
